What to Expect Before Your Appointment

An email will be sent to you 24 hours before your appointment that includes a link to a COVID-19 self-assessment. Please click on the link and complete and submit the form prior to your appointment. This should take only a few minutes of your time.

Please note: this is a mandatory self-assessment that must be completed. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the clinic as soon as possible.

Please contact the clinic as soon as possible to cancel your appointment (at no charge) if within the last 14 days:

  1. You are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms; have tested positive or if you are waiting for COVID-19 test results
  2. You have been in contact with someone else that is experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms; has tested positive for COVID-19 or had direct contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case
  3. You have travelled outside of Vancouver Island

*These precautions are subject to change as per the provincial health recommendations.

Welcome to So Mello Massage Therapy! You will be asked the same pre-screening questions that you completed online when you arrive for your appointment. Please sanitize your hands and bring your own mask.

Please Arrive Alone

Due to COVID-19 we cannot accommodate more than one person at a time inside the clinic. Please make childcare plans in advance.

Please Arrive Early

Please arrive early, but the doors will be locked until 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you happen to arrive earlier than planned, please wait inside your vehicle and enjoy listening to some mellow music.

Personal Belongings

Please leave additional personal belongings (such as shopping bags, groceries, etc.) inside your vehicle.

Masks are mandatory and must be worn at all times while inside the clinic. Please plan to bring a mask with you. Wendy will wear a mask at all times while you are inside the clinic.

Minimizing the Risks

All appointments are scheduled a minimum of 30 minutes apart to:

  • Reduce contact between patients as much as possible
  • Ensure adequate time for thorough disinfecting between appointments

The waiting room, treatment room and washroom are sanitized with medical-grade cleaning products recommended by the BCCDC (BC Centre for Disease Control) before your arrival.

Wendy is monitoring her health daily and will cancel all clinic appointments with as much notice as possible if she is feeling unwell.

Wendy is actively engaged in staying informed with the latest guidelines and recommendations from the College of Massage Therapists of BC (CMTBC) and public health officials including Dr. Bonnie Henry.

Wendy is looking forward to seeing you!
